Missed Session Policy
What Happens When a Learner Misses a Session
This policy explains what a learner can expect if they miss a live online session or a day of an on-site course. It forms part of the Terms and Conditions.
Letting African Greeneurs Know
A learner who knows they will miss a session lets African Greeneurs know as soon as possible, ideally before the session, by email to info@africangreeneurs.com or by phone on +27 12 669 3012, quoting the booking reference.
Online Courses
Course material stays available on the learner site (edu.africangreeneurs.com) while the course runs, so a learner who misses a live session can work through that session's material. The facilitator tells the learner what catch-up is available for that session.
On-Site Courses
A missed day of an on-site course cannot be repeated within the same intake. Where space allows, African Greeneurs offers the learner a place on the missed day of a later intake of the same course, at no extra charge.
Completing the Course
Where a course awards a certificate of completion, the facilitator explains at the start of the course what a learner needs to complete, such as attendance or assessments. Missing sessions can mean a learner does not meet those requirements in that intake.
Refunds
A missed session is not refunded. Cancelling a booking, and the full refund for death or hospitalisation, are covered in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
